Amen to this...
Not to be um mean or anything, but I honestly thought this was supposed to be a photoshop type class. My personal opinion is that this flash game thing should'e been done in a normal computer education class or something to that effect, not for a class that is supposed to be something totally different. I mean , this stuff is ok, but it's deffinately not what I signed up to so. And im really diaspointed that we've done practically nothing in photoshop. I wanted to take this class becasue I have photoshop at home, but have no idea how to use it. All in all, this is really frustrating and kind of a big let down. And I'm definately not the only one in here who feels this way...copy and paste this to your blog if you agree.

Civic Engagement
Student teams from the function, ideals and citizenship community all asked questions this week dealing with the role of cooperation and collaboration in civic engagement. As a member of the ideals community, share one wiki artifact from your Team Page and the story behind it where you engaged in collaboration. How does this relate to civic ideals?
We brainstormed how we could help teach civic in a way that would be fun, but still educational. It relates to civic ideals because it teaches the player about the amendments.

Write a blog post to introduce yourself, your team and your game to the other students in the Ideals Community. Use the Ideals Resources information page to also explain how your game fits into the Ideals Knowledge Framework. Please include hyperlinks to your team page. This post must be a minimum of 5 complete sentences.
My name is Jomar and my teammate is Craig. Our team name is Gruesome Twosome. Our game fits into the ideals category because our game teaches about the rights of Americans that are provided by the amendments. Our game is a memory match up game. The object is to flip over the cards and match the correct amendment to the definition.

How well do you believe the average American citizen understands US Ideals and how they are applied in government? Why does it matter?
I'm Jomar Shaffer and i'm 18 years old. I believe that teens in todays world are not as well educated in this subject do to the lack of the education on civics within the school systems.

How do you feel about this class?
Right now I feel a little lost. Reason being is because all of this is new to me. I'm hoping to learn more about this stuff so that I can use this in my life.
